If some team wants to improve on the wide receiver position lots of names could be available during the 2018 offseason.
Here’re some of the top names who could be available when free agency opens this spring.
5. Mike Wallace
In his second season in Baltimore, Wallace led the Ravens with 748 yards receiving and tied for the team lead with four touchdown catches. Wallace regain his form since signing with the Ravens two years ago.
Since his draft in 2009, 31 year old Wallace Bryant had 3 seasons with 1000+ yards(2010, 2011 and 2016). Wallace scored 32 touchdowns in four seasons since the Steelers drafted in 2009 as 3rd round pick.
The 26 year old wideout will hit open market this offseason. In 4 seasons he caught 126 passes for 1917 yards with 17 touchdowns but he missed all of last season due to a suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
In 15 games with the Steelers (8 as a starter) he has caught 50 passes for 603 yards with 3 TD. This talented WR was unhappy whole season with his status at Steeelers. He was expecting to start more games a get more passes but rookie JuJu Smith was the reason for his limited playing time.
3. Sammy Watkins
The 4th overall pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2014 draft was traded to Rams before the start of this season. For the Rams the 24 year old WR caught 39 passes for 593 yards with 8 touchdowns.
During his career, since 2014 he has caught 192 passes for 3052 with 25 TD’s. In his first two years as a Pro had 60+ passes and 980+ yards.
2. Allen Robinson
Robinson played just one game this season before tearing his ACL. This young talented Jaguars player has proven in the past three years.
He will hit the free market with 202 passes for 2848 yards (1400 years in 2015 season) with 22 TD’s (14 TD’s in 2015 season).
1. Jarvis Landry
Dolphins second round pick will be one of the hottest names this offseason.
Since 2014 he hasn’t miss a single game and has caught 400 passes (all seasons 84+) for 4038 yards (2015 and 2016, 1000+ yards) with 22 touchdowns. Some could argue that the quarterback situation in Miami has hurt his numbers.
