Johnathan Cyprien didn’t fined for knocked Travis Kelce out of Wild Card game

The NFL decided not to fine Tennessee Titans defensive back Johnathan Cyprien for his hit on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce that knocked Kelce out of last weekend’s Wild Card playoff game, per a report from the Kansas City Star.

The injury occurred late in the second quarter, when Cyrpien hit Kelce after Kelce made a catch. Kelce was visibly shaken after the hit.

Kelce left the game after the hit and was ruled out of the game early in the third quarter.

Fortunately Kelce appeared to be well on his way to healing quickly from the injury as head coach Andy Reid said the next day Kelce probably would have been able to play had the Chiefs advanced to the divisional round.
